About us

Guisborough Christian Fellowship (the working name for Guisborough Christian Centre - Charity Reg. 702049) is an independent church, a member of the Evangelical Alliance and Churches Together in Guisborough. The congregation is made up of people from Guisborough and the wider Cleveland and North Yorkshire areas. As well as supporting local activities, the church has links with churches in Romania and Guinea Bissau and is a Tear Fund Connected Church.

The Sunday morning service is held at 10am in Prior Pursglove College, Guisborough. The service is followed by refreshments and a time of fellowship. There is a Crêche, Sunday School and Youth Church for all age groups up to 14 years.

There is a Youth Group for two age groups on Sunday evenings.

There are house groups on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at various locations. 

There is a childrens' and young peoples' event called "The Christians at the Coffee Shop" on a Wednesday evening in Loftus

 We support the inter-denominational Guiz Kidz. Guiz Kidz, which is sponsored by the Guisborough Bridge Association, is a monthly event for children, ages 5 - 11. It is held approximately once per month in the Methodist Church hall on Sundays from 10am till noon. We also support other Bridge activities, including Bridge2Youth and the organisation of Alpha and Christianity Explored courses.
